The Library's network is open to all visitors free of charge.
Individuals 18 and under are required to have a signed consent form on file before using computers the first time.
A parent or legal guardian must complete this form.
Computers provide access to the Internet and Microsoft Office 2010 Professional, which includes Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Publisher.
All online databases are also accessible on these machines. Color copies are $.50 each and black/white pages are $.10 each.
The Freeport Library offers free delivery of materials to anyone who is temporarily incapacitated by an illness or accident, as well as those who are who are in need of long-term service because they are physically unable to visit the library.
It will also list items owned by the other libraries in our system. A library card is available to anyone who lives or owns property within the city limits of Freeport.Children, 13 and under, may use the computers in the Youth Department.
